Rabbi Jerry Kudan received ordination and a master’s degree in Jewish Studies from a traditional rabbinic school. He also holds a master’s degree in progressive, student-centered education. During his rabbinic training, he served as an interfaith spiritual care chaplain in a hospital, and he led a small Jewish congregation for five years.
His experience includes working with and teaching students of all ages. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Jewish Education in which he is developing a curriculum to teach Bible to teens.
Through his work, he helps Jews to develop deeper connections with God based on the teachings of the Torah, Prophets, and Writings (the Hebrew Bible), and he helps Christians to better understand the Jewish roots of their faith.
Rabbi Jerry was raised in Conservative Judaism. He comes from a family of several rabbis of different Jewish denominations, and he has appreciation for his family’s lineage as Kohanim (descendants of the priesthood of Aaron from the tribe of Levi).
He has years of experience working with Spirit-filled Christian ministries in which he has witnessed many people having profound, life-changing breakthroughs of being healed and set free from challenges.
He and his wife Abigail founded The Shared Story Ministries.
